Since we believe in creating technology with the potential to change the world here at JouleHub, we have begun participating in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
The World Solar Challenge was formed over 30 years ago to showcase the world’s leading innovations in solar power. Focusing around a race of solar-powered cars, the challenge takes place in the Australian Outback and highlights the latest and greatest solar technology.
Participants in this challenge come from all over the world and from a wide variety of backgrounds, educations, and experiences making the World Solar Challenge a truly spectacular event.
Producing a sustainable future through solar power is one of the main objectives of the World Solar Challenge and we at JouleHub are all about these innovations.
That’s why we are anticipating participating in the next Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. We are currently in the process of building a team comprised of the brightest students that will come together and work to create a car that only uses solar power to run. Our team members come from a variety of backgrounds and have a wealth of experiences to pull from for this challenge. They vary from engineers to designers to mechanics, but they all have the same goal- to develop technology that has the potential to change everyone’s lives.
Not only will our JouleHub team have to face the giant obstacle of designing a car that only runs off of energy from the sun or energy that is recouped from the dynamic vitality of the vehicle, but they also have to build a car that withstands the conditions of the Australian Outback. It is truly a challenge, indeed!
Our JouleHub team is up for the challenge. Are you?
